The link above leads to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data. These files are extremely large and are likely to exceed internal limits for KCM’s network. As a result, if you are an employee of KCM and wish to access and/or download these publicly available files, you must not use the KCM network or the computer that has been issued to you by KCM for that purpose.
The machine-readable files are updated each month by Aetna. If the link above does not work they are also available on www.aetna.com under Plan Disclosures at the bottom of the page. From there scroll down to the middle of the page for the Disclosures dropdown and choose Small Group AFA.
