Compliance Intern – Year-round

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Chief Compliance Officer, the Compliance Intern will work on a variety of compliance-related projects. This is a year-round internship beginning in summer of 2022.

Essential Functions

  • Build Excel spreadsheets;
  • Conduct data analysis and testing;
  • Prepare reports;
  • Assist Compliance staff as needed;
  • Scan documentation;
  • Perform administrative tasks.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • Enrolled in college majoring in a business-related degree;
  • In sophomore year or beyond in good academic standing;
  • Interest in the stock market/investments and the legal and regulatory aspects of the financial services sector;
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher is required;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Work collaboratively as a team player and interact effectively with others throughout the organization;
  • Prioritize and meet deadlines without compromising accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Inquisitive nature;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (understanding of Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.);
  • Prior experience is a plus, but not required;
  • Willingness to work 20-30 hours per week with some flexibility.

  • This position is based in our offices in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
