Community Involvement

At Kennedy we place a high priority on giving back to our community on a local and national level. We are committed to making an impact through both financial donations and volunteerism.

Organizations we have supported include:

The Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club is a youth development organization whose mission is to produce physically active, well-educated and hopeful young people with families at the center of their efforts. Mathews-Dickey serves over 2,000 youth annually through direct programming in the areas of athletics, after school arts and education, career readiness and summer camp.

We’ve proudly partnered with STL Youth Jobs Summer program. The STL Youth Jobs organization envisions a city where our youth have the opportunity they need to succeed, and our businesses have the workforce they need to compete.

Friends of Kids with Cancer is devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for, and survivors of, cancer and blood-related diseases. Our mission is to be an advocate for these special kids and provide them and their families with the educational, emotional, and recreational support needed as a result of the long hours of chemotherapy, illness and isolation.

Bike MS is the largest fundraising bike series in the world. Each year, nearly 75,000 cyclists and more than 6,000 teams ride together to change the world for people with MS.

To support those who suffer from this debilitating disease, Kennedy formed a team, raised funds, and rode in the Gateway Getaway Bike MS event.

The mission of The Women’s Safe House is to provide safe shelter and transitional living services to battered women and their dependent children and to empower them to make informed choices about their futures. Their vision is to provide a safe environment where women and children may escape the danger of domestic violence, receive high-quality comprehensive services, advocacy and support to heal, and begin to break the intergenerational cycle of abuse.

The Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition strives to create permanency in foster children’s lives by recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families in the metropolitan St. Louis region. Today, with 30 years of experience in system change and grassroots advocacy, combined with undiminished passion, their vision remains: “For Every Child … A Place to Call Home.”

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. They envision a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
