Communications Associate

Position Summary:

The Communications Associate position is responsible for working closely with team members to coordinate communications on behalf of the firm.  At KCM, you will have the support and flexibility to achieve your professional and personal goals, surrounded by diverse colleagues with high ethical standards. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as project manager responsible for the timely completion of tasks, resolution of issues, and implementation of assigned projects.
  • Create, assemble, and maintain client and sales team materials and collateral.
  • Completion of prospective client Requests for Proposals and Information (RFPs/RFIs) as well as Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
  • Fully supporting all KCM client service and business development efforts.
  • Acting as liaison for KCM to client and consultant investment staff and operations team.
  • Ensuring consistency in the promotion of the firm and its brand/products.
  • Assisting with coordinating on-site and off-site meetings (including printing, binding, and/or shipping of materials).

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent prioritization skills to effectively manage deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Software skills in MS Office a must and, preferably, knowledge of Salesforce, RocketDocs, OnBase, Advent, FactSet Research Systems and/or willingness to learn.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and graphics skills (e.g. PowerPoint, Adobe).
  • Some experience in institutional marketing, sales, and/or client services is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or applicable financial services industry experience.


  • This position is based in our offices in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
